Jude Bellingham Holds Talks With Real Madrid Over Contract Extension Until 2031

England midfielder Jude Bellingham has reportedly held positive talks with Real Madrid over a new contract that could keep him at the Spanish club until 2031.

According to BBC Sport on Friday, the 23-year-old has just over two-and-a-half years remaining on his current deal, although Spanish media reports suggest that discussions could lead to a long-term extension at the Santiago Bernabeu.

Bellingham joined Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in 2023 for a reported €103m (£88.5m). Since arriving in Spain, he has scored 49 goals in 152 appearances for the club.

The midfielder enjoyed an outstanding first season in Madrid, scoring 19 goals and providing six assists in 28 La Liga appearances as the club won both the league title and the UEFA Champions League.
