Nigerian content creator Jarvis has shared a humorous account of her honeymoon with her husband, fellow creator Peller, admitting that the experience fell short of what she had imagined.
Speaking during a recent livestream, Jarvis said she had expected the honeymoon to be more exciting but joked that the trip did not quite live up to its name.
“I won’t lie, the honeymoon did not moon. It did not moon the way I want it to moon; we didn’t really go to the moon, we just went to the sky and came down,” she said.
Jarvis explained that she had associated honeymoons with a particular romantic atmosphere and memorable moments between newlyweds. Her comments appeared to reflect the gap between those expectations and what she and Peller actually experienced.
She then pointed to her pregnancy as a major reason the honeymoon was less eventful than she had expected. According to the content creator, the pregnancy affected the amount of energy available for activities during the trip.
“But based on this eba level now, how many things can we scatter? We just slept and slept enough and even got tired,” Jarvis said, using a playful reference to her pregnancy.
Her comments quickly drew attention because of the candid and humorous way she described the experience. Rather than presenting the honeymoon as a picture-perfect getaway, Jarvis offered a more relatable account of how pregnancy can change plans and expectations.
