Phyna, former Big Brother Naija winner, has expressed her willingness to reconcile with singer Davido nearly two years after a widely publicized online dispute.
The feud began in October 2023 when Davido liked a post on X that referred to Phyna’s fans as “useless.” The reality star publicly questioned the singer’s actions after he welcomed twins with Chioma, prompting Davido to respond that he didn’t know her. Phyna replied, “God knows me,” and unfollowed him on Instagram.
During a recent livestream, Phyna revisited the incident, stating that she is ready to apologise publicly and seeks clarity on the cause of the misunderstanding.
“If I have the opportunity to stream with Davido, I will take it. Yea, he senior me, he choke pass me normal. I’m going to tender apology to him, but before rendering the apology, we need to understand where that our quarrel really dey come from,” she said in Pidgin English.
She further expressed a desire to hear Davido’s side of the story:
“Like baba Ibeji needs to really tell me that na by mistake him take like that comment wey cause probably. Then he will now explain his side of the issue because you see that I don’t know you wey baba Ibeji talk, e fit be like say na we take am the wrong way.”
Phyna’s gesture has sparked interest among fans on social media, who are eagerly anticipating a possible reconciliation between the music star and the reality show winner.
