Tobey Maguire Officiates Ex-Wife Jennifer Meyer’s Wedding to Nigerian Billionaire’s Son

Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire officiated the wedding of his ex-wife, Jennifer Meyer, and her new husband, Geoffrey Ogunlesi, in Hawaii, highlighting the close friendship the former couple have maintained since their separation.

Meyer married Ogunlesi at the Four Seasons Resort Lanai on October 10, with Maguire leading the couple through their wedding vows. The Spider-Man star and Meyer separated in 2016 but have remained close while raising their two children together.

Maguire, who shares Ruby, 19, and Otis, 17, with Meyer, attended the ceremony in a black suit and matching tie. The bride wore a strapless wedding gown, while Ogunlesi appeared in a classic tuxedo, according to photos obtained by TMZ.

The wedding attracted several high-profile guests, including actor Leonardo DiCaprio, actress Courteney Cox, model Vittoria Ceretti, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and his wife, Lauren Sánchez Bezos. Maguire’s presence as the officiant added another notable connection to the celebrity gathering.

The marriage comes five months after Meyer and Ogunlesi welcomed their first child together, a baby girl. Meyer announced the arrival on Father’s Day in June, sharing a photograph of Ogunlesi holding their newborn and describing the experience as a perfect month with their baby.

Ogunlesi is the son of Nigerian billionaire lawyer and investment banker Adebayo Ogunlesi. His marriage to Meyer has drawn attention in entertainment circles because of the connection between the Hollywood jewellery designer, her new husband and Maguire, who played a central role in the ceremony.

Meyer has previously spoken about the challenges she and Maguire faced while adjusting to life after their separation, particularly as they continued raising their children. During a December appearance on the Inside Edit podcast, she said maintaining their connection was important as they navigated the demands of parenting.
