Nollywood movie producer Chijioke Junior Okonkwo has said that the movie industry in Nigeria needs more professionalism.

He said that the industry should not be about people going on set without planning because they believe people will watch just anything they put out there.

He added that quick success syndrome that is plaguing a lot of sectors in the country is the key contributor to the issue as anyone with money and story can just film anything within days.

“People no longer plan and you see it in the quality of the work they do. A lot of persons even end up spending more that they are supposed to earn in the movie because they just wanted to jump on something and it is bad”
