Ahead of the 16th edition of Star Nite, there were doubts if the artistes listed could deliver the same performances which made the best of the best in Imo State as at 2014, but they proved their critics wrong by putting up an unforgettable show for everyone that was there.

Joining the artistes announced previously, Zeak, Wyldo D’Ofizzi, Chizzydoz and Cozzicole also delivered what is expected of them, while Acharaman, Reflex Soundz, Kelogram, LMG, Floxy, Kozy G, 2Blac and Naut B who are on the main list made the event legendary.

Aside the thrilling performances, cool anchoring by Zanders FM’s Dayo, the event provided some talking points that will forever live in the memories of the guests.

Zeak

ZEAK’S OPENING WAS PERFECT FOR STAR NITE

Rapper Zeak might be beyond the level of an opener, but his performance was the perfect one for an event like Star Nite.

Zeak who stepped in with a trap track per fore performing others sent shivers to guests with his deliveries and stage energy, which in most cases is never seen by show openers. His performance set the pace for Wyldo D’Ofizzi who was making his Star Nite debut and the Naut B who returned after featuring in the early editions of the event.

Floxy

FLOXY STILL HAS IT

Floxy might not be ringing bells in recent times, but she also showed that she is still made of greatness when she took on the stage to deliver both old and new songs.

Floxy returned after being away for a while and her performance as well as the excitement it brought could spur her into releasing a fresh single that will welcome her back to the music business.

2Blac

2BLAC REMAINS A GREAT RAPPER

Way back in 2013/2014 rapper 2Blac was celebrated for his comic and rhythmic flow on beats and at the event, he showed he still had that with new songs that can pass any test any day.

The disappointment to his fans at the event was that he failed to performed ‘Mpa Gi Dia’ which is one of his signature tracks, but that was not the only missed song, Keylogram who performed just a track as shunned the call by fans to perform his hit track ‘Nonsense’.

KozyG

KOZY G RETURNS MORE MATURED

Singer Kozy G showed that his sojourn to Lagos has never been a wasted venture as the Logon artiste delivered a more matured performance from what we had previously seen from him at Star Nite.

Kozy G who is elder brother to Floxy, performed a duet ‘I Gat You’ with Floxy on his last appearance at Star Nite, but that did not happen as both siblings went solo to do their things. They delivered.

Reflex Soundz

REFLEX SOUNDZ IS ON THE WAY UP

Reflex Soundz had previously watch his PMJM Entertainment team of Big Chance and Cyphertyte perform at the event and later came on as a solo artiste, but at ‘The Origin’, he was everything a star should be on stage.

Reflex in his signature leather jacket was too good as he is when it comes to music. Although he sang all through, but we cannot forget that he is also a great rapper.

The performance by Reflex Soundz is out of the world; he just made his own contribution to the legendary experience went home with that night.

DJ DIZZY P

DJ DIZZY P IS FROM ANOTHER PLANET

No wonder he is called ‘The Magic Finger’, Dj Dizzy P’s performance could have disrupted the event as everyone got up from their seats to dance along the old school tracks his was dishing like manner from heaven.

Dj Dizzy P is simply from another planet when he is on the wheels of steel, thanks to the organizers of Star Nite for introducing DJ performances and at ‘The Origin’, Ds Vicky Lee and Dj Smile also lit up the arena when they were called upon.

LMG

LMG STILL HAS IT

LMG showed that he is still a great artiste in both song delivery stage performance. He has been a big miss in the industry and everyone who knows him will lovely love to have him back in the industry.

With ‘Mbo’, ‘Adenuga’ and ‘One Bottle’ LMG was able to rekindle the old feelings and fans and guests at the event were all on their feet from the beginning of his performance to the end of it.

Acharaman

ACHARAMAN SUMED IT UP

Acharaman did perform any of his song but was still able to put up a legendary performance with songs by other artistes.

He performed songs by Singaholic, Emex Didi, MacDonald, Regiz, Kelly Hansome, South Ends, Bomboclats, FreeWindz and Da Bizzy.

Acharaman was able to take everyone back to ‘The Origin’ of hip-hop music in Imo State to the point no one wanted it to end.

Another thrilling performance came from comedian Lafin Gas who was gearing up for his ‘Inhale Lafin Gas’ which successfully took place on Sunday December 1, 2019. Others are dancers Solo Jackson, and Dance Freaks who thrilled at Posh and Candy on Friday, November 29, 2019.
