Poco Lee’s Management Praises Zlatan’s Support, Urges Restraint Over UK Court Case

The management of Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee has appealed for restraint in the spread of what it described as negative narratives surrounding his ongoing legal proceedings in the United Kingdom.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by Poco Lee’s manager, Faleye “Dee-Y” Adedoyin, the management also publicly acknowledged the support of Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and others during the entertainer’s legal ordeal.

Adedoyin described Zlatan and others as “extremely supportive and helpful” and said their involvement had been important in helping Poco Lee navigate the situation.

“We would like to publicly acknowledge that Zlatan, along with others, has been extremely supportive and helpful through this matter,” the statement said. “Their involvement, support, and effort have been vital to moving things forward.”

The management also urged members of the public to avoid spreading unverified or negative claims about the case. It said it appreciated the continued support and dedication of those assisting Poco Lee during the proceedings.

The statement followed comments by social commentator Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, about Poco Lee’s trip to the UK and the circumstances surrounding his legal case. Otse questioned reports that the entertainer travelled to Britain for a Davido show and claimed that the trip was connected to a Zlatan show.

Poco Lee’s legal proceedings in the UK remain ongoing. He was granted bail on September 11 ahead of a scheduled appearance at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15. The hearing was subsequently adjourned to February 8, 2027, after the charge sheet was reportedly unavailable and Poco Lee did not appear in court. A trial date of March 8, 2027, was later set.

Poco Lee faces five sexual offence charges in the UK, including attempted rape, two counts of rape and two counts of assault by penetration. He has denied the allegations and has not been convicted of any offence. The allegations remain matters for the court to determine.

His management has previously called on the public and media to exercise caution when discussing the case, stressing that allegations should not be treated as evidence of guilt while court proceedings are ongoing.

The latest statement again shifts the focus toward allowing the legal process to run its course while acknowledging the people supporting Poco Lee during the proceedings.
