Scott Parker Agrees Deal to Become West Ham United Head Coach

Former Chelsea and West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker has reportedly agreed terms to become the new head coach of the Hammers.

According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, Parker has reached an agreement with the Championship club, with the contract expected to be signed ahead of his official appointment.

The 46-year-old is set to replace Nuno Espirito Santo, who was dismissed from the managerial position.

Parker previously represented West Ham during his playing career, making a return to the club in a managerial capacity a potential reunion with the side he once played for.

The former England international is expected to be confirmed before West Ham’s Championship trip to Cardiff City on Wednesday.

West Ham are currently eighth in the Championship table, with 22 points from 13 matches, as they seek to strengthen their position in the competition.

Parker’s reported appointment would mark another managerial opportunity for the former midfielder, who has previously managed clubs in English football.
