Nollywood actress and filmmaker Ruth Kadiri has dismissed reports claiming she died, assuring fans that she is alive, healthy and safe.

The actress addressed the reports in a video after a death rumour about her began circulating across social media.

Kadiri said the reports were false and urged the public not to believe or share unverified information about her.

“Please note that I am alive. I did not have any accident, and I am safe,” she said.

She also reassured her followers that she is healthy and called on fans to report social media accounts spreading the false claims rather than helping the rumour reach a wider audience.

The death hoax comes as Kadiri continues to promote her latest project, Once Upon a Village, which has been gaining attention across her digital platforms.

The filmmaker recently released Episode 5 of the series on RuthKadiri247, featuring actors including Henrietta Ibekwe and Deza The Great.

Kadiri has built a large digital audience through her film platforms, where she continues to release original Nollywood productions and behind-the-scenes content.
