Poco Lee’s management has rejected claims linking the Nigerian dancer and entertainer to allegations of drink spiking, saying the claim does not form part of the charges before a United Kingdom court.
The clarification comes as public discussion grows around the legal case involving Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka. His management urged the public and media to avoid spreading unverified information while the case remains before the courts.
Poco Lee is scheduled to appear at Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15, 2026, for plea and trial preparation. His management stressed that the allegations against him remain subject to the UK judicial process and should not be treated as established facts.
In a statement, the management said reports mentioning drink spiking were among several claims circulating online that were not part of the allegations or charges before the court.
“We are particularly concerned by the volume of unverified narratives currently circulating, including claims referencing ‘drink spiking,’ amongst other allegations which do not form part any of the allegations or charges before the court,” the statement said.
The team also appealed for respect for Poco Lee’s right to a fair hearing, warning that public speculation could create unfair prejudice against those involved in the case. It said conclusions should only be drawn after the matter has been considered through the proper legal process.
The management said it would continue to provide updates through official channels as appropriate. It also asked members of the public and the media to allow the UK courts to determine the case rather than relying on social media reports.
For now, the outcome of the proceedings remains undecided, with Poco Lee expected back before Snaresbrook Crown Court on September 15 for the next stage of the legal process.
