American rapper A$AP Rocky has dismissed suggestions that he feels intimidated by the enormous financial success of his partner, global music and business icon Rihanna, saying her billionaire status has never affected their relationship.
The rapper said he is financially successful in his own right and has never felt entitled to Rihanna’s wealth or achievements. While acknowledging that the singer has built a billion-dollar empire, Rocky stressed that he remains proud of everything she has accomplished.
Speaking during a recent episode of the Jason CC Show, the rapper said there is no room for insecurity in their relationship simply because his partner is wealthier than he is.
“My woman got billions, I got multi-millions. Her success isn’t mine. I am proud of my woman. No one can make me insecure because she is richer than I am. It just doesn’t make sense,” A$AP Rocky said.
The rapper’s comments come amid ongoing public conversations about relationships where women earn significantly more than their male partners. His remarks have been widely interpreted as a message of confidence, mutual respect and support rather than competition.
Rocky and Rihanna first confirmed their relationship in 2020 after years of friendship. Since then, the couple has become one of the entertainment industry’s most celebrated power couples, frequently appearing together at major fashion events, award shows and public engagements.
Together, they are raising three children—their sons RZA, born in May 2022, and Riot, born in August 2023, as well as their daughter, Rocki Irish Mayers, who was born in September 2025.
Despite Rihanna’s business empire spanning music, beauty, fashion and lingerie, A$AP Rocky has continued to build his own career in music, fashion and creative ventures, making it clear that he values their individual achievements while celebrating each other’s success.
