Nigeria’s entertainment industry turned out in style as music executive Soso Soberekon celebrated his wedding reception with a glamorous event in Warri, Delta State, attracting some of the biggest names in music, film, business and politics.

The lavish reception, held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, came just days after Soberekon’s traditional wedding and quickly became one of the most talked-about celebrity gatherings of the weekend.

Leading the list of entertainers at the celebration were music stars 2Baba, Zlatan, Harrysong, Timi Dakolo, Kcee, Teni, Iyanya, Oritsefemi, Daddy Showkey and Peller, alongside nightlife entrepreneur Cubana Chief Priest and businessman E-Money.

The movie industry was also well represented, with Nollywood stars Rita Dominic, Ini Edo, Iyabo Ojo, Priscilla Ojo, Peggy Ovire, Mercy Eke, Ebube Obio, Uzee Usman, Toke Makinwa and comedian Oga Sabinus joining the celebrations.

Among those in attendance were Hilary Ibegbulem, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate in Ebonyi State, Ifeanyi Odii, Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs Dennis Otuaro, and former Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) President Amaju Pinnick.
