Nigerian businessman Olakunle Churchill has publicly celebrated his former wife, actress Tonto Dikeh, on the occasion of her birthday, sharing a heartfelt message that has drawn attention online.

Churchill took to Instagram on Tuesday to post a photograph of the Nollywood star alongside a warm birthday tribute, offering prayers for her wellbeing and continued success.

In his message, he described Dikeh as a devoted evangelist and prayed for God’s guidance, strength and protection over her life. He also wished her peace, happiness and abundant blessings as she marks a new year.

Referencing Proverbs 31:28, Churchill expressed hope that her son, King Andre, would continue to honour and celebrate her, noting that her efforts as a mother would not go unnoticed.

The businessman’s public message comes after both parties appeared to have taken steps toward rebuilding a cordial relationship years after their highly publicised separation.

Churchill and Dikeh, whose marriage produced a son, were involved in a series of public disputes following the collapse of their union. Their disagreements frequently made headlines and sparked widespread discussion across social media and entertainment circles.

However, recent developments suggest a shift in their relationship, with both reportedly embracing a more peaceful approach to co-parenting their son.

Earlier this year, Churchill spoke about renewed communication between himself and the actress, signalling an improvement in relations after years of tension.

Dikeh has also publicly discussed her journey toward forgiveness and emotional healing. She previously credited Pastor Jerry Eze, founder of the New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD), for helping her embrace peace in family-related matters.

Widely known for her successful Nollywood career, Tonto Dikeh has also built a reputation as a philanthropist, activist and political figure, remaining one of Nigeria’s most influential celebrities.

Churchill’s birthday message has since generated reactions from fans, many of whom welcomed the apparent maturity and harmony between the former couple.
