Nigerian Afrobeat superstar Davido has dismissed reports linking him to a $50,000 unpaid wedding planning bill as “crazy.”
The singer reacted on Sunday evening following a viral social media report claiming that Funke Bucknor-Obruthe, CEO of the company that organised his wedding with Chioma, had called him out over an alleged outstanding debt. The report included what appeared to be a chat of the event planner threatening legal action.
Reacting to the claims on X, Davido expressed disbelief, tagging the allegation as absurd. “This is just crazy atp (at this point),” he wrote, signalling his frustration over the circulating reports.
The post quickly gained traction online, sparking discussions among fans and followers over the authenticity of the alleged debt.
