Nigerian singer Harrysong has stirred public conversation after revealing that he is now in a polygamous relationship, nearly two years after his marriage to Alexer Peres ended.
The Reggae Blues hitmaker made the disclosure during a recent interview on Yanga FM Lagos, where he said he is currently dating multiple women — and that they are all aware of one another.
“All my girlfriends know each other. They are all doing well, and we are happy,” the singer said.
Harrysong, a father of two, defended his lifestyle choice, insisting that polygamous relationships are not inherently wrong when entered into willingly and respectfully.
“Everybody is being treated right and with respect. No one was forced. Everyone joined willingly,” he said, urging critics not to impose their personal beliefs on others.
The singer also referenced American R&B star Ne-Yo, claiming the musician has multiple wives, and added that some of his partners are foreigners, including an American.
The comments have reignited public interest in Harrysong’s turbulent marital history. His marriage to Alexer Peres collapsed in 2024, just three years after their wedding.
At the time, Harrysong alleged that his estranged wife became pregnant for another man while still living in his home, claiming they had not been intimate for more than a year. Alexer strongly denied the accusation, instead accusing the singer of infidelity on their wedding night and domestic violence.
With his latest remarks, the singer appears unfazed by controversy, framing his current relationship status as a matter of personal choice and happiness.
