The incident, which reportedly occurred on Monday, October 7, has triggered condemnation from parents, activists, and social media users demanding justice for the child.
In the viral footage, the victim’s mother is seen crying uncontrollably while showing the bruises on her daughter’s body. “I want to show you people my baby’s wound. Are you seeing what a teacher did to my child?” she lamented as bystanders urged the school to bring out the accused teacher.
According to the distraught mother, she was called to the school after her daughter was allegedly flogged so severely that she could barely walk.
