Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has urged single women to focus on building themselves and becoming valuable individuals before dreaming of marrying wealthy men.

The actor gave the advice while reacting to the social media buzz surrounding his role as Odogwu — a compassionate billionaire lover — in the romantic film Love In Every World 2. The character has gained massive attention online, with many women describing Odogwu as their “ideal man.”

Arukwe, however, reminded fans that the female lead in the movie, Chioma (played by Bambam), was already an accomplished and hardworking woman before Odogwu began supporting her.

He explained that Odogwu never questioned Chioma’s contributions to their relationship because her value and industriousness were obvious.

Taking to his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Arukwe wrote:

“While we are basking in our delulu, it’s important to remember that Odogwu saw Chioma as a valuable woman before throwing his full weight to support her. He didn’t even need to ask what she brings to the table because it was clear she’s an industrious woman. So as a woman, build value for yourself first, and your Odogwu will locate you to become your helpmate that makes everything easier to handle.”

His message has since sparked discussions across social media, with fans praising his grounded perspective on love, self-development, and partnership.
