Big Brother Naija Season 10 finalist Kola Omotosho has addressed long-standing rumours about his relationship with the show’s winner, Opeyemi Ayanwale, popularly known as Imisi, saying he cannot date or marry her because she is “like a sister” to him.
The reality TV star made the clarification during a recent live session after fans repeatedly questioned him about his connection with Imisi.
“Imisi is my sister, I can’t marry my sister. Imisi is in her house, I am in my house. Please, can we make this about me?” Kola said, visibly frustrated by persistent questions from fans.
During the show, Kola and Imisi developed a close bond, often describing each other as siblings despite public speculation about their chemistry. Viewers had hoped their friendship would evolve into romance, especially after the pair appeared together at a few post-show events.
Kola’s revelation, however, puts an end to the speculation, confirming that their relationship remains purely platonic.
Before his statement, fans had also linked Kola to Dede, another housemate, but their connection never materialised romantically. Dede, who was in a committed relationship outside the house, later stated that even if she were single, she and Kola “wouldn’t have been compatible.”
