Governor Hope Uzodimma of Imo State has commended Miss Ebere Patricia Iwuagwu, widely known as Commissioner DJ Wysei, for representing Imo State and Nigeria on the global stage through her exceptional talent in entertainment. At an elaborate all-night reception held at the Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square in Owerri, the governor celebrated DJ Wysei’s achievements, describing her as a remarkable young talent whose global recognition continues to bring pride to her home state.

Speaking on behalf of Governor Uzodimma, Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukegbu, Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, emphasized the government’s commitment to supporting creative Imo youths, noting that DJ Wysei’s accomplishments on platforms like TikTok—where she has garnered over two million followers as the only African with such reach—serve as an inspiration to others.

“This celebration is a testament to our administration’s commitment to encouraging Imo youths who exhibit extraordinary talent and creative mindset,” Dr. Ukegbu stated. “DJ Commissioner has truly made a mark in the entertainment world, and we are here to let her know that her state stands behind her every step of the way.”
