Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma has declared his confidence in leaving office without fear of any investigation or prosecution by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) or any other anti-corruption body. Addressing the congregation after the Feast of Christ the King Mass at the Government House Chapel in Owerri, Uzodimma challenged anyone with evidence of wrongdoing during his administration to come forward.

“I will leave office a free man, sleep with my two eyes closed without being afraid of anybody, including the EFCC,” Uzodimma asserted, emphasizing his commitment to transparency and integrity in governance.

The governor expressed pride in the legacy his administration is building, citing significant investments in infrastructure, prosperity, and the dignity of the people of Imo State. He maintained that he has fulfilled the promises made to his constituents and reaffirmed his dedication to delivering lasting development.
