Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Nomy has been disqualified from the reality show after repeatedly breaching house rules and failing to follow Big Brother’s instructions.

Nomy, whose real name is Whitney Nneoma Chukwu, was ordered to leave the ‘Show Ya Sef’ house on Monday following her latest violation of the Benchwarmer punishment.

She had been instructed to remain on a designated bench and wear a specific vest after finishing last in a recent Head of House challenge. However, Big Brother confronted her after she abandoned both requirements.

The latest breach followed several earlier warnings over her conduct, including previous violations of the conditions attached to her Benchwarmer role.

Those conditions included wearing the assigned outfit, staying on the designated bench and completing specified cleaning duties. On August 9, Big Brother issued Nomy a strike and described it as her “last and final warning.”

Although some restrictions were later relaxed after she apologised, Nomy subsequently received further cautions over lateness, disobedience and failure to participate in mandatory activities.

Her continued breaches eventually led to her disqualification. Big Brother gave her 30 minutes to pack her belongings and leave the house.

Nomy becomes the first housemate to be disqualified on disciplinary grounds this season and is no longer eligible for the ₦160 million grand prize.

Her exit came a day after Gerard Adebija was evicted during Sunday’s live show, leaving 15 housemates competing for the season’s top prize.

The 26-year-old fashion designer and entrepreneur from Anambra State, who was raised in Lagos, became one of the season’s most talked-about housemates because of her outspoken personality and repeated clashes over the show’s rules.
