Nigerian Afrobeats sensation David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced a generous donation of N300 million to support orphanages and organizations combating youth drug abuse in honor of his upcoming 32nd birthday on November 21, 2024.

On Monday, November 18, Davido shared this philanthropic commitment with his followers on X (formerly Twitter), stating:

“Once again, for my birthday this year, we are donating to orphanages and a charity that helps young people stay away from drug abuse & addiction. This year is N300m. Details to follow soon.”

This initiative continues Davido’s tradition of using his birthday as an opportunity to give back to the community. In November 2021, to mark his 29th birthday, he donated N250 million to 292 orphanages across Nigeria.
