President Bola Tinubu has lauded Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, the Director-General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), calling her a brilliant woman and a worthy representative of Nigeria. This commendation came in a statement celebrating Okonjo-Iweala’s 70th birthday.

In his remarks, President Tinubu extolled Okonjo-Iweala’s exemplary qualities of grit, diligence, and brilliance, which he said reflect the best of Nigerian character. The statement, issued by his spokesman Ajuri Ngelale, expressed joy for the WTO chief and her family on this significant milestone.
