The Imo State Police Command on Wednesday paraded three persons suspected to have kidnapped and killed an indigene of Ideato North Local Government Area of the state after collecting a ransom of N10million.
The suspects are Chinedu Christian Ejezie (aka Holy Condom, 40; Okechukwu Ibemere, 26 and Emmanuel Uba, 33.
Parading the suspects, the spokesman of the police in the state, Henry Okoye said they collected a ransom of N10million from the bank account of their victim, Ikechukwu Ebelebe and still went ahead to kill him.
Okoye added that the suspects later dumped the corpse of the victim at Ajali River Bank in Anambra State.
According to the police spokesman, the suspects were arrested at Ebute Ero Market in Idumota Local Government Area of Lagos State through credible intelligence gathering.
Okoye revealed that the confession of Ejezie and Ibemere led to the arrest of the third suspect, Uba.
