Kogi Governor Yahaya Bello hosted Senator Kassim Shettima at his Abuja residence Monday evening.

Shettima, a former Borno governor, is the All Progressives Congress (APC) vice presidential candidate.

The close-door meeting centred on strategies to ensure the party’s victory in the 2023 elections.

A few close associates of the two leaders were present at the party.

They also discussed issues bordering national development, unity of the country, peace and security.

Bello noted that an APC has the right plans in place to tackle the challenges across all boards.

The governor already donated his campaign building to the presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Bello was one of the aspirants for the ticket of the party, eventually won by the Lagos ex-governor.
