The former head of the Bureau for Public Sector Reform, Joe Abah, has rubbished claims that civil servants started corruption in Nigeria.

Abah dismissed this claim while reacting to a Twitter thread from tech entrepreneur, Osaretin Victor Asemota who opined that the biggest culprits in corruption activities in Nigeria are civil servants.

According to Asemota, civil servants are the ”true evil” in Nigeria.
