Nigeria’s first lady, Aisha Buhari, on Wednesday, visited the Senate to observe proceedings.

Her entourage included the Minister of Women Affairs, Dame Pauline Tallen; and the Minister of Finance, Mrs Zainab Ahmed.

Upon her arrival, the Senate suspended the order at exactly 12.00 pm to allow the first lady and her entourage to enter the Senate chambers.

She was in the Senate to observe the laying of the report of the Constitution Review to be done by the Committee headed by the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege.
