If what we are hearing is true, Imo State will soon be losing one of her finest rappers to Lagos State soon.
LMG who in December topped two top 10 rappers’ chats in Imo State and going into top 4 in South East won artiste of the year at the 2014 edition of E-Celebrity Awards and since then, has been shuttling Lagos State more than he goes to his home town in Isiala Mbano LGA.

We have also confirmed that the rapper recently added StackUp Recordz to his display name on Blackberry messenger but unlike other artistes who start up their own record labels, we learned that StackUp is a Lagos based label which has been tracking the rapper for a while.
Although he has never come open to say it, we recently saw him promoting BeQ and E-Kien of the duo DaTush who are also signed to label one of his recent posts on social media with his location showing Lagos State.
Should LMG move to Lagos state, it will create room for other artistes to fill the vacuum his departure will be creating but it will take a while for the state to produce another talented rapper like him.
We might be close to experiencing that same mass exodus of artiste from the state in 2007 when the likes of Singaholic, Kelly Handsome, Zbyte and others moved to Lagos because they were signed to a label.
This will keep happening until Imo State is ready to improve in the way local artistes are appreciated and patronized especially on the side of the government who prefer to celebrate stars without putting down a single effort in making one.
We just hope LMG leaves for good.
