It was a night of reward for artistes, producers, graphic designers, on air personalities and brands as they were recognized for their hard work at the second edition of E-Celeb Awards.
The event which kicked off on the late hours of Friday, May 23, 2014 at Valencia Lounge and Resorts, saw the best of the best in Imo State entertainment industry present as they watched their colleagues walk home with different awards.
With the most revered award being the Artiste of Year Award going to rapper LMG who won it ahead of X-Busta, Raydee, Dabrain, E-Black, Skutch, Redloaf and Gentle, it was an emotional moment for the rapper who believed his efforts have started paying off after a while off missing out on some awards.
For the Producer of the year award, Wisedon won ahead of Freelance, Somik and Sisyley who were all present at the event while Khala Designz became the Graphic Artiste of the year ahead of Franky Dot Com Designz, Naija Media and Yopy Designz.
Singer, Jayboy emerged Promising Entertainer of the year ahead of Swimpy, Ugems, Jayboy, PrinceWhite, MC T-Boy, P-Smielz, Kay, Ryders and Treasure Gold who put up a wonderful performance with fellow rapper, Money Making.
Others winners are Deejay Saquo Star Nite, Event of the year; Raydee, Dance-Hall Artiste of the Year; MK 60, Next Rate Afro Pop Artiste; Dawn Tawn, Next Rated Hip-hop Artiste; Smlyz of Blaze FM Nnewi; Indomie, Entertainment Promoter of the Year; D Twinz, Group artistes of the year; Franky Dot Com; Freelance; www.otowngist.com and Moc Brand.
The event was crowned with performances by Gpec, Mk 60, Raydee, Iczy, John King, UC Flames, Clue, P. Smielz and Collins Vegas, Mc Ominimini, Prince White and others.
