A Blessing, Blessing Abaleke

Gospel singer, A Blessing has revealed that her desire to see people broken in the presence of God is the reason why she joined the music scene.
Blessing Abaleke who chose to carve out ‘A Blessing’ as her stage name, also said people do music for many reasons, but hers is a calling from God.

“Before I went to the studio to record last year, I’ve always felt this burden that I should get a life changing song out there for the people. There was lots of procrastination until the burden became unbearable for me.
This is the Holy Spirit at work, pushing me to do something God has called me do”
Launching her maiden album titled ‘Forever’ on February 23, 2014, she believes there is no going back in what she is doing now.
On the fake lives of gospel artistes, A Blessing said, “The motive for doing gospel music determines the lifestyle. If one is in it for commercial reasons, he’ll surely be acting like a business man and if a man is called by God to sing, he will be led by the Holy Spirit in everything he does and you know what it will look like.
I can’t see me not practicing what I preach. It will say bad about me, my music and Christianity”
Though fresh in the scene, A Blessing is believed to be the next voice in gospel music by her admirers and she said that her desire is to take her music beyond the boundaries of her imaginations.
