Otown Gist Personality of the Year Award

2013 has been a wonderful at www.otowngist.com where entertainers from different genres have been making headline for different reasons.
We want to carefully look at some names that made it on the headline more than others and let our readers decide whom they enjoyed reading about among these names.

Although some entertainers made the headline for much of good reasons, one cannot still take away the fact that others were there for the wrong reason. Believe it or not, headline is headline and the saying that ‘the uglier the better’ in showbiz might be what these people took advantage of.
After listing these entertainers, the readers will vote their favourite on a pool that will count for 70% of the total points while the number of headlines will count for the other 30%.
The winner will be presented with the maiden edition of Otown Gist Personality of the Year Award next month.
The award is one way to encourage entertainers to always be on news, which is actually one way people will get to see the depth of their personality.
CEO, www.otowngist.com, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike said “The award might be seen as one way we want to dominate online news but it won’t still be bad if people see it like that.
Otown Gist Personality of the Year Award is one way we want encourage entertainers in the state, because there won’t be news without them.
We have help so many of them, but the fact is that they have helped us more because the bulk of our readers come from their friends and family members which is why we need to give something to them as well as the entire industry”
A list of 5 entertainers will be released on Tuesday, November 19, 2013 while voting will commence on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 to end on Thursday, December 5, 2013.
Voting will be done on www.otowngist.com and would be one user per vote.
