Lagos Police Identify Polish National, Nigerian Arrested Over Indoor Cannabis Farm

The Lagos State Police Command has identified two suspects arrested following the discovery of a high-tech indoor cannabis farm at a residential property in Apapa, Lagos.
The suspects were named as Thomas Razvickas, 49, a Polish national, and James Chisome, 36, a Nigerian. They were arrested on November 2, 2026, at about 8:15 am following intelligence received by police operatives.
According to the police, the facility was equipped with sophisticated equipment allegedly used for cultivating, harvesting and processing substances suspected to be cannabis.
The Command’s spokesperson, SP Abimbola Adebisi, disclosed the arrests in a statement on Tuesday, November 3. She said both men were residents of the property and remained in police custody.
Adebisi added that the suspects had made confessional statements and were providing information to assist the ongoing investigation. The police, however, did not disclose further details about the alleged operation or the quantity of suspected cannabis recovered.
The Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, CP Tijani Fatai, visited the property to inspect the facility and receive updates on the investigation.
Fatai commended the officers involved in the operation, describing their efforts as an example of vigilance and intelligence-led policing. He also reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to tackling drug-related offences and dismantling criminal networks across the state.
The police commissioner urged residents to provide credible and timely information that could help security agencies identify and apprehend suspected criminals.
The Command said it would sustain efforts to combat criminal activities across Lagos State. The two suspects remain in custody as investigations continue.
