BBNaija Season 11: Aikou Loses Gambit Immunity After Viewers Vote for His Release

Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate Aikou has lost his Gambit status after viewers voted to end his special protection on the reality show.

Aikou’s status was revoked on Monday following the “Operation Release Gambit” vote conducted among viewers of the show.

The development comes four weeks after Aikou was selected as the male Gambit for the ongoing Season 11 edition, giving him immunity from possible eviction while he carried out secret assignments for Big Brother.

During his diary session on Monday, Big Brother informed Aikou that his time as a Gambit had officially come to an end. He was also told that the loss of the status meant he would now be exposed to the same eviction process as other housemates.

“I would like to inform you that your time as the Gambit has come to an end. This also means that you will be up for possible eviction, just like every other housemate,” Big Brother told him.

Big Brother further reminded Aikou that his fate would now be determined by the voting public and instructed him to keep the development between himself and Big Brother before leaving the diary room.

Aikou was not the only housemate affected by the decision, as the female Gambit, Flora, also lost her Gambit status following the viewer-led process. The development brings an end to the immunity previously enjoyed by both secret agents.

Gambits serve as Big Brother’s secret agents on the show, carrying out missions designed to influence events inside the house. With Aikou and Flora now stripped of their special protection, their chances of facing eviction have changed significantly as the competition continues.
