Former BBNaija winner and streamer Phyna has accused content creator Ashmusy of attempting to have her removed from a multi-million-naira celebrity boxing deal, sparking a fresh dispute between the two personalities.
Phyna said a boxing promotion company first contacted her in February 2026 about participating in a celebrity boxing event involving a Ghanaian opponent. She said the organisers later asked her to suggest other celebrities who could be approached for the event.
The reality star said she recommended Ashmusy to the organisers on August 19 after learning that another potential participant could no longer take part because of a wedding. She then connected Ashmusy with the organisers to discuss the proposed deal.
According to Phyna, Ashmusy requested direct contact with the organisers after accepting the offer. Phyna alleged that the content creator subsequently stopped responding to her calls and messages.
The situation, she claimed, escalated when she learnt that Ashmusy was allegedly asking the organisers to remove her from the deal and replace her with another person. Phyna said this was particularly upsetting because she had been in contact with the company since February and had introduced Ashmusy only the previous week.
Speaking in an Instagram video on Thursday, Phyna accused Ashmusy of attempting to take away an opportunity she had helped create. She described the move as unfair and strongly criticised the content creator.
Phyna said: “You dey comot food for my mouth, Ashmusy; you are a bad person. You dey tell them say make them remove person wey bring job for you.”
Ashmusy has not, in the material provided, publicly responded to Phyna’s allegations. The dispute now leaves questions over what happened during the negotiations and whether the boxing organisers will retain both personalities for the event.
