Grammy-nominated Nigerian singer Asake has officially announced the release date of his fourth studio album, titled M$NEY, set to drop on May 1.
The Afrobeats star revealed the news on social media alongside a striking video showing the creation of a marble statue sculpted in his likeness. The artwork was crafted by Iraqi-Dutch sculptor Athar Jabar, adding a visual layer to the album rollout that has already generated strong reactions from fans online.
The announcement has triggered widespread excitement across the music scene, with listeners anticipating another high-energy project from one of Nigeria’s most dominant contemporary artists.
According to details shared, the upcoming album will feature previously released tracks including Why Love, Badman Gangster, and Worship, the latter being a collaboration with international DJ Snake.
The project follows a busy run for Asake, who has consistently released major bodies of work since his breakthrough in 2020. His previous albums include Mr Money With The Vibes, Work of Art, and Lungu Boy, all of which helped cement his status in Afrobeats.
In addition to his solo success, Asake has also been involved in collaborative projects, including a joint EP with Wizkid earlier this year, further strengthening his profile in the global music space.
His rapid rise has been marked by chart dominance, viral hits, and strong streaming numbers, making him one of the most commercially successful Nigerian artists of his generation.
Last year, Asake earned a Grammy nomination for Best African Music Performance, though the award ultimately went to Tems. With M$NEY on the horizon, fans are now watching closely to see if the new project will push him further into global award contention and continued chart success.
