Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, Kabir Hassan, has ordered a discreet investigation and directed officers to intensify efforts to apprehend the suspects.

Security authorities have urged residents of the area to remain calm and provide useful information that could assist ongoing investigations.

The killing adds to growing concerns over sporadic armed attacks in parts of northern Nigeria, where rural communities continue to face security challenges linked to armed groups and criminal gangs.
