President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has pledged that his administration will leave no stone unturned in the fight against terrorism, reaffirming Nigeria’s commitment to regional stability and global security cooperation.

Speaking at a high-level meeting with security chiefs and foreign envoys in Abuja on Thursday, Tinubu said his government was working closely with international partners to dismantle terror networks operating within and around Nigeria’s borders. He noted that global collaboration remains vital in tackling insurgency, banditry, and other transnational threats.

“The safety of our people is non-negotiable. We are strengthening intelligence sharing, investing in modern security technology, and deepening diplomatic engagement to ensure terrorism is crushed once and for all,” the president said.

According to sources at the meeting, the president discussed plans to engage world leaders at upcoming international forums, particularly on issues of counterterrorism funding, arms control, and regional cooperation in the Sahel.

He also commended the Nigerian Armed Forces and security agencies for their ongoing efforts, assuring them of better welfare, equipment, and operational support to maintain momentum in the war against terror.

Observers say Tinubu’s latest statement signals a renewed diplomatic offensive to strengthen Nigeria’s alliances with global powers, positioning the country as a strategic partner in Africa’s security architecture.
