Harry Kane Becomes Europe’s Highest-Paid Footballer With New Bayern Contract

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has reportedly become the highest-paid footballer in Europe after agreeing to a new contract with the Bundesliga champions.
According to reports, the England captain has extended his stay at Bayern until 2029, with his weekly salary rising to an estimated £400,000.
The new deal is believed to give Kane the highest basic weekly salary among footballers in Europe, although the figure has not been independently confirmed by the club.
The contract development comes days after Kane was reportedly named the 2026 Ballon d’Or winner, adding another major milestone to an already impressive period in his career.
The England international enjoyed a prolific 2025/2026 campaign, scoring 73 goals in 65 appearances for club and country.
Since joining Bayern from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023 for a reported £86m transfer fee, Kane has scored 156 goals in 161 appearances.
Before agreeing to the reported extension, the striker was said to be approaching the final six months of his existing contract, raising questions about his long-term future at the German club.
The new agreement would keep the 32-year-old at Bayern until 2029 and underline the club’s commitment to retaining one of its most influential attacking players.
