Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal has been ranked sixth among the world’s highest-paid footballers in 2026, with estimated earnings of $55 million, according to Forbes. The Spanish teenager features among football’s biggest earners alongside global stars Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappé.

Ronaldo tops the ranking with an estimated $300 million in earnings, followed by Messi with $145 million and Real Madrid forward Mbappé with $100 million. According to Forbes, the 10 highest-paid footballers are projected to earn a combined $942 million during the season, with Ronaldo and Messi accounting for nearly half of the total.

Ronaldo, who plays for Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr, is projected to earn $250 million from football and another $50 million from endorsements and other business ventures. His commercial portfolio includes the CR7 brand, hospitality businesses and investments, helping him maintain a substantial lead over the other players on the list.

Inter Miami forward Messi occupies second place, with estimated earnings of $145 million. The Argentine is projected to make $70 million from football and $75 million from endorsements and other off-field activities, reflecting the significant commercial value he continues to command around the world.

Mbappé ranks third with $100 million, including $70 million from football and $30 million from commercial partnerships. Manchester City striker Erling Haaland follows in fourth place with $85 million, while Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr. is fifth with an estimated $76 million. Their earnings combine football income with lucrative sponsorship agreements and other commercial activities.

Yamal’s estimated $55 million places him ahead of several established international stars. Forbes attributes $35 million of his projected earnings to football and $20 million to endorsements. His rise has attracted commercial attention from major brands, including American Eagle, Coca-Cola and McDonald’s, as his profile continues to grow through his performances for Barcelona and Spain.

The 2026 ranking also features Senegal international Sadio Mané in seventh place with $54 million, followed by Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham with $45 million. Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane is ninth with $42 million, while Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah completes the top 10 with $40 million. Their earnings reflect the continuing importance of sponsorships and commercial partnerships alongside football salaries.

The list highlights the financial dominance of Ronaldo and Messi, whose earnings remain far ahead of the rest of the field.
