Toluwanisings’ Family Announces October 27 Service of Songs in Ibadan

The family of Nigerian gospel singer Toluwanisings has announced October 27, 2026, as the date for a night of tributes and service of songs in honour of the late musician.
The event will take place at Jogor Center Hall of Grace in Ibadan, Oyo State, at 3pm, according to an announcement shared on the singer’s social media page on Wednesday.
The family invited friends, colleagues, fans and members of the gospel music community to join them in remembering the singer, whose death has prompted widespread reactions online.
“We invite you to join us for a Night of Tributes and Service of Songs in honour of our beloved brother, friend, and gospel minister, Olayemi Bayonle Bolaji, fondly known as Toluwanisings,” the announcement read.
Toluwanisings died on October 14, 2026, hours after performing at a praise concert organised by fellow gospel singer Bidemi Olaoba in Ibadan, according to reports.
Following his death, the singer’s personal assistant reportedly said Toluwanisings slumped at his residence and died after being turned away by eight hospitals in Ibadan over a lack of emergency equipment. The circumstances surrounding the reported hospital visits have not been independently established in the information provided.
His death has also sparked public debate about emergency medical services and the state of healthcare in Nigeria, with some social media users and celebrities criticising the country’s health system.
The October 27 gathering will provide an opportunity for loved ones and admirers to pay tribute to Toluwanisings and remember his contribution as a gospel minister.
