APC Proposes 12-State Campaign Tour for Tinubu Ahead of 2027 Elections

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has proposed a nationwide campaign schedule for President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, with rallies planned across 12 states between October 2026 and January 2027.

The proposed tour is expected to begin in Kaduna on October 24, 2026, and conclude with a grand rally in Lagos on January 9, 2027. According to the schedule reported by Premium Times, the party intends to use the campaign to mobilise support and strengthen its presence across the country.

Following the opening rally in Kaduna, Tinubu is expected to attend an APC campaign event in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on November 7. The proposed itinerary then lists Jos, Plateau State, for November 14, followed by Ibadan, Oyo State, on November 21.

The campaign is scheduled to continue in Maiduguri, Borno State, on November 25, before moving to Enugu, Enugu State, on November 28, and Bauchi, Bauchi State, on November 29. These stops form part of the party’s planned engagement with supporters in different parts of the country.

In December, the President is expected to attend rallies in Sokoto, Sokoto State, on December 4, Asaba, Delta State, on December 12, and Kano, Kano State, on December 17. The schedule is then expected to resume in the new year with a rally in Yola, Adamawa State, on January 4, 2027.

Lagos is listed as the final destination, with a grand rally proposed for January 9. The APC says the itinerary is designed to reach the country’s six geopolitical zones, with grassroots mobilisation, party unity and engagement with Nigerians among its stated priorities.

“From North to South, East to West, the focus remains on grassroots mobilisation, party unity and meaningful engagement with Nigerians,” the party said.

However, the APC has stated that the proposed timetable may be adjusted. The schedule therefore remains subject to change, and the listed dates should not be treated as confirmation that every rally will take place as planned.
