Burna Boy to Headline NFL Halftime Show at Historic 2026 Paris Game

Afrobeats superstar Burna Boy is set to take the global stage once again, with the Nigerian Grammy Award winner confirmed as the headline performer for the halftime show of the first NFL regular-season game in France.

Burna Boy will perform at the Stade de France on Sunday, October 25, when the New Orleans Saints face the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2026 NFL Paris Game. The appearance adds another major international platform to the singer’s growing list of global achievements.

Known for blending Afrobeats with reggae and dancehall influences, Burna Boy has built a worldwide audience and become one of Africa’s most prominent musical exports. His growing international profile has also seen his music reach major global charts and sporting events.

The singer has had nine songs appear on the Billboard Hot 100. His 2026 FIFA World Cup anthem, Dai Dai, featuring Shakira, reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Global Charts and has surpassed one billion views on YouTube.

Burna Boy previously made Grammy history by winning Best Global Music Album in 2021 for Twice As Tall. His NFL appearance will now put his music before an international audience during one of the league’s landmark overseas fixtures.

The Saints-Steelers game will be broadcast live in France on France Télévisions and beIN Sports, while L’Équipe is scheduled to show a delayed broadcast. Kick-off is set for 9:30 a.m. ET, or 2:30 p.m. CEST.

The Paris game is part of the NFL’s biggest international programme to date, with nine regular-season fixtures scheduled outside the United States during the 2026 season. Paris, Melbourne and Rio de Janeiro are each set to host regular-season NFL games for the first time.

For Burna Boy, the performance represents another crossover between African music and major global sporting platforms. His appearance at the Stade de France is expected to further expose Afrobeats to the huge international audience watching the NFL’s expansion beyond the United States.
