Fresh details have emerged in the controversy surrounding relationship influencer Blessing CEO, following allegations from the family of Deborah Mbara that Blessing CEO forged a medical report claiming she was battling stage 4 cancer.

Deborah’s brother, Duke Chidi Nwafor, revealed in a Facebook post that Blessing CEO had privately contacted the family in an attempt to resolve the matter away from public scrutiny. Nwafor alleged that Blessing admitted her actions were motivated by a desire for clout.

“Secret begging will not help,” Nwafor wrote, insisting that any apology must be made publicly. He stressed that the matter involves not just his sister, but also Nigerians who may have been misled by the alleged cancer claim. “We want an open apology to my sister… and to the innocent Nigerians,” he added.

According to Nwafor, Deborah has been emotionally affected by the situation, describing her as “traumatised” and saying that the intense public attention has worsened her distress. The family continues to demand transparency and accountability from Blessing CEO, rejecting any attempt at a quiet settlement.
