Imo State, Nigeria – Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, received a special Episcopal blessing during a thanksgiving service at the Maria Mater Ecclesia Cathedral in Mbaise, Imo State. The event marked the conclusion of Belusochukwu Enwere’s five-year tenure as National Chairman of the Youth Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWICAN).

The blessing was delivered by Simon Okezuo Iweobi, Catholic Bishop of the Ahiara Diocese, in a ceremony that brought together political figures, church leaders, youth representatives, and community stakeholders from across the region. Episcopal blessings in the Catholic tradition are regarded as prayers for guidance, wisdom, and protection in service to society.

Organisers described Enwere’s tenure between 2021 and 2026 as impactful, highlighting his role in promoting youth mobilisation, interfaith understanding, and civic engagement.
