Donga, Taraba State – At least seven people, including three police officers, have been killed following a violent attack on Tor-Damisa community in Donga Local Government Area of Taraba State.
The incident, which occurred on Wednesday evening, was reportedly carried out by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen. Residents said the attackers stormed the community, firing sporadically and causing widespread panic before security operatives intervened.

The violence has forced many residents to flee to neighbouring communities amid fears of further attacks. The situation has heightened tension in the area, with locals calling for increased security presence.
Efforts to reach the Police Public Relations Officer in Taraba State, Lasheh James, for official confirmation were unsuccessful, as calls and messages sent to him were not answered at the time of filing this report.
