Scottish Premiership side Rangers are considering a summer move for FC Porto defender Zaidu Sanusi as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
The club are actively exploring defensive options, with Sanusi emerging as a strong candidate to bolster their left-back position. Reports from Sport Witness indicate that Rangers’ scouts were present during a recent league match involving Porto, where the Nigeria international was in action.
Sanusi has battled injury issues in recent times but has worked his way back into the team at FC Porto. His return to form has seen him climb above Francisco Moura in the pecking order, reinforcing his importance in the squad.
The 27-year-old has contributed one goal and two assists for the Portuguese side this season, offering both defensive stability and attacking support from the flank.
Rangers are expected to keep monitoring his progress closely as they weigh up a potential offer when the transfer window opens.
