The 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, on Tuesday visited former Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, at his residence in Abuja.
The visit came just hours after Malami regained freedom from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), where he had been held for months.
Details of the meeting were not immediately disclosed, but sources suggest it may be connected to Malami’s ongoing issues with the DSS and the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

Malami was reportedly granted bail on Monday before the visit took place.
A viral video circulating online showed the former Minister of Justice reuniting with his family after his release, marking the end of his detention.
