Nollywood actress Victoria Akanke Ajibola, popularly known as Omo Local, has revealed the circumstances that led to her divorce, sharing a deeply personal and shocking experience.
In a recent interview on Oyinmomo TV, the actress disclosed that both she and her best friend became pregnant by her husband at the same time—Omo Local was five months pregnant while her friend was three months along.
Trauma and Attempted Suicide
The actress described the ordeal as deeply traumatizing, admitting that the shame and emotional pain drove her to attempt suicide by taking poison.
“I was five months pregnant, my best friend was also three months pregnant for my husband. The trauma was so much to the extent that I took poison because of shame,” Omo Local recounted.
Life After the Divorce
When asked about her best friend, Omo Local said she no longer knows her whereabouts. She revealed that her ex-husband and the friend reportedly had three children together after her departure.
