Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has dismissed the state’s Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, with immediate effect, as part of a broader initiative to improve the efficiency and performance of the civil service.

The announcement was made in a statement released on Wednesday, March 11, by the governor’s spokesperson, Sunusi Dawakin-Tofa. According to Dawakin-Tofa, the decision reflects the administration’s commitment to repositioning the civil service for greater discipline, accountability, and improved service delivery across all government institutions.
