Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dele Momodu, has criticized the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), describing it as a “house in commotion” plagued by internal conflicts.

Speaking on Wednesday during an interview on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, Momodu argued that the party is struggling to maintain a facade of unity while tensions simmer beneath the surface.

APC Accused of Internal Struggles

Momodu highlighted widespread party disputes across multiple states, including Benue and Zamfara, claiming members are behaving like children fighting over trivial matters.

He said:

“If you read the news today, you will see that the APC is indeed a house of commotion. From Benue to Zamfara and so many other places, they are fighting themselves like babies fighting for lollipops.”

Questions Raised Over Leadership Ethics

The ADC chieftain also questioned the ethical standing of certain APC leaders, citing an individual he claims simultaneously holds leadership roles in both APC and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

“Today, we have a party leader who controls two political parties at the same time and President Bola Tinubu is cool with that. Such a person is a leader of the APC and a leader of the PDP. Is that democracy?” he asked.

Momodu’s remarks come amid growing scrutiny of APC’s internal dynamics and leadership conduct as Nigeria navigates its political landscape ahead of upcoming elections.
